Terms of Service

PrepMojo is an Indian-olympiad practice service we operate at prepmojo.in and app.prepmojo.in. These terms govern your use of the service. Be a good faith user, treat the content as educational reference (not exam-leak material), and we'll do our best to keep the service useful and fair.

• You must be a parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized adult to create an account on a child's behalf
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login. Sign-in is via email magic link or Google OAuth — no passwords
• One account per family. We may suspend accounts that appear to be shared across unrelated households
• We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate an account that violates these terms or applicable law

PrepMojo currently operates a free tier. When paid tiers launch (“Plus” and “Family”), the following will apply:

• Pricing and feature lists will be shown on the pricing page before checkout
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card data
• Refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase if the service hasn't been substantively used

You agree NOT to:

• Scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit our question bank, taxonomy, or any other proprietary content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the apps
• Use the service to harass, defraud, or impersonate others
• Submit content that is illegal, abusive, or violates third-party rights
• Probe or stress-test the service in ways that degrade availability for other users (security research is welcome — see “Security disclosure” below)

The PrepMojo question bank combines content from multiple sources:

• Open community datasets — GSM8K (MIT), SVAMP (MIT), OpenBookQA (Apache-2.0), MMLU (MIT), OlympiadBench (Apache-2.0), HellaSwag (MIT), WinoGrande (Apache-2.0), AQuA (Apache-2.0). Each individual question carries its source attribution and license URL in our database.
• PrepMojo originals — questions we author or generate via LLM with cross-validation. Copyright PrepMojo, licensed to subscribers for personal study only.
• Olympiad metadata — fees, dates, eligibility, syllabus topics. Sourced from publicly published organizing-body information. Compiled into a derivative work owned by PrepMojo.

You receive a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use this content for studying. You may not copy questions to a competing product.

Names like “SOF”, “CREST”, “SilverZone”, “NSTSE”, “HBCSE”, and individual olympiad names belong to their respective organizing bodies. PrepMojo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these bodies. We use these names only for informational reference (eligibility, syllabus, fee).

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, hosting incidents, or third-party outages can affect access
• Features may be added, modified, or removed; we'll communicate material changes by email when they affect paid subscribers
• We may close inactive accounts after 12 months without activity, after sending a warning email

PrepMojo is an educational practice tool. It is not a substitute for actual olympiad sample papers, school instruction, or human tutoring. Performance on PrepMojo predicts olympiad performance approximately, not exactly.

Question content is provided as-is from the underlying sources. While we run automated validation and best-effort review, individual questions may contain errors, ambiguities, or out-of-date facts. Report mistakes to hello@prepmojo.in and we'll fix them.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS-IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, PrepMojo's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may close your account at any time by emailing hello@prepmojo.in. We may terminate or suspend your account if you materially breach these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and your data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it confidentially to security@prepmojo.in before disclosing publicly. We'll respond within 72 hours, coordinate a fix, and credit you publicly if you'd like.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

We'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when terms change. Material changes affecting paid subscribers will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and you may cancel your subscription if you don't accept the new terms.
